The descendants of Frank Prentiss and Emma Bell Henderson gathered at the First United Methodist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi for their annual family reunion. The reunion is usually held the first Saturday in July at a location that is convenient for the matriarch and/or patriarch of the family. This year the date was set for Saturday, July 5. |

The
land for this cemetery was given by the Yellowley and Pekins families,
who lived just west of the cemetery. All monuments of these two families
face west toward their homes. All other stones face east. This is an
extremely well kept cemetery. All stones are legible and there are very
few graves without markers.
Jessamine Cemetery is within the city limits of Ridgeland, east of Highway 51, and north of the Natchez Trace. |
