The family got together just before noon on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Ridgeland United Methodist Church. Although the attendance was somewhat slim, there were many there who had not been together since last year.

It was good to see the Jenkins' crowd from Oklahoma as well as the Bloughs from the Jackson area.

Next year's gathering will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008. The location has not yet been determined. The president for next year will be Andrew Williamson. Janet Henderson will be the secretary ... again.

It was good to have Al and Charlotte with the family this year. This was the first time they have been in the Jackson area since their move to The Villages in Florida. They had a closing on their old home on McCoy Drive. As Al so aptly put it, "We are now residents of Florida."

Tommy, Lynn and Andrew were there with their contribution of great nourishment for those who were anguishing for some "super grub". That need was expressed by everyone.

 

Mike and Paula Williamson were there with their granddaughter, Natalie Brooke Schoonover. Natalie is our newest addition to the family; she was born six months ago. Her mother, Heather, was there to keep this "little bundle of joy" in line. You know who received all of the attention! It wasn't any of the old folks.
