Jeremiah 9:23-24– The LORD says: Don't brag about your wisdom or strength or wealth. If you feel you must brag, then have enough sense to brag about worshiping me, the LORD. What I like best is showing kindness, justice, and mercy to everyone on earth.

The ONLY thing we as Christians have to brag about is our relationship with King Jesus.

Here are some of the wonderful statements from history from the experts of their times who were proud of their knowledge:

"Everything that can be invented has been invented." Charles H. Duell, Director of the U. S. Patent Office, 1899.

"Who the h--- wants to hear actors talk?" H. M. Warner, Warner Bros. Pictures, c. 1927. (When talking movies were invented.)

"Sensible and responsible women do not want to vote." Grover Cleveland, 1905.

"There is no likelihood man can ever tap the power of the atom." Robert Millikan, Nobel Prize winner in Physics, 1923.

"Heavier than air flying machines are impossible." Lord Kelvin, President, Royal Society, c. 1895.

"Ruth [Babe Ruth] made a big mistake when he gave up pitching." Tris Speaker, 1927.

Listen, human knowledge is so limited. Human strength is so limited. God is omniscient (all-knowing). God is omnipotent (all powerful). You are not.

Let your boast be in Him.

Often we do not know the needs of those for whom we wish to pray.
We can't even find words to express our feelings. We are silent, but
our concern is deep. We groan within. In this spirit, we deliberately
get a vision of the loving, caring, healing, Christ, and we bring
into that awareness those for whom we would pray, placing
them and the whole situation in his care.
